On March 24, 2026, Mr. Fan Dongping, CEO of Chaoming Technology, paid a visit to the Nantong Association for International Economic and Technical Cooperation(NTFEC). During the meeting, Mr. Fan Dongping reported to Mr. Mr. Wang Jiabing, Executive President of the Association, on the company’s development path, achievements over the past five years, as well as the development trends of the new energy industry in recent years .
President Wang Jiabing stated that amid drastic fluctuations in the international political and economic landscape, as well as anti-dumping investigations against some Chinese industries by the United States and Europe and the implementation of the CBAM carbon tax, going global has become an inevitable choice for Chinese enterprises to diversify supply chain and operational risks. He emphasized that tax compliance, foreign exchange compliance, and labor compliance in the local countries are key issues that Chinese enterprises must fully consider in advance before expanding overseas.
NTFEC was founded in 1993, Nantong Association for International Economic and Technical Cooperation is the first social organization in the foreign economic cooperation sector among prefecture-level cities nationwide and the only institution in Nantong specializing in research and services for international economic cooperation. It is a municipal, industry-based social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises and relevant service institutions engaged in international economic cooperation in Nantong, including outbound investment, overseas project contracting, foreign labor service cooperation, foreign economic assistance, and investment attraction.
The association currently has 161 key members, including listed companies and enterprises with special-grade qualifications. Among them:
6 members are listed among the ENR (Engineering News-Record) Top 250 Global Contractors;
8 members are shortlisted in the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises;
9 members are included in the Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises;
22 members rank among the Top 200 Private Enterprises in Jiangsu Province;
60 members are qualified for overseas project contracting and labor service operations.
6 members are listed among the ENR (Engineering News-Record) Top 250 Global Contractors;
8 members are shortlisted in the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises;
9 members are included in the Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises;
22 members rank among the Top 200 Private Enterprises in Jiangsu Province;
60 members are qualified for overseas project contracting and labor service operations.
A number of its members hold qualifications for overseas project contracting and labor service operations. The Association has received a 5A (AAAAA) rating in China’s social organization evaluation. It has been honored as an Advanced Collective of Chamber of Commerce under the Federation of Industry and Commerce in Jiangsu Province, a “Four-Excellences” Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province, an Outstanding Social Organization in Nantong, and a Demonstration Site for Modern Chambers of Commerce. Designated by the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Commerce as the Nantong “Going Global” Comprehensive Service Platform and the Nantong Service Station for Foreign-Funded Enterprises, it is able to provide a full range of overseas expansion services for numerous Nantong-based enterprises.
NTFEC offers overseas business training for corporate personnel and regularly organizes business delegations. It has also set up liaison stations in many ASEAN and African countries, which has greatly facilitated the overseas layout and business development of Nantong enterprises.
Mr. Fan Dongping, CEO of Chaoming Technology, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Association. He stated that the company is willing to maintain close information communication and exchanges with other members of NTFEC. He also hoped to leverage the platform of the Association to help overseas factories of Chinese enterprises achieve low-carbon and low-energy-consumption , so as to reduce their overseas factories’ operating costs.
